Modern “faces” rug made in Teotitlán Village in Oaxaca, Mexico. Traditionally made flat-woven rug of contemporary design featuring various natural dyes including: native flowers, tree bark, and cochineal. Handwoven on a pedal loom by Zapotec weavers, this design was woven for 3 months. Each piece is unique, born of a collaboration between artist and weaver. Rug measures 3 1/2 feet by 5 feet and can used as a rug or accent wall hanging.
